Adrian has always been captivated by machines, enjoying the process of pulling them apart to understand their inner workings and then putting them back together. Growing up, he often joined his father in the garage, ‘helping’ with various project cars. His grandfather’s collection of Porsches, including a 1976 Arrow Blue 911 Sportomatic, a 1983 Zermatt Silver 944, and a 1985 Grand Prix White 944, left a lasting impression on him, and a special connection to these amazing vehicles.
Beginning his apprenticeship at Hamiltons in 1994 felt like stepping into a treasure trove for Adrian. The sheer number of remarkable cars was overwhelming, and he spent the next five years immersing himself in the world of high-performance vehicles.
A motorcycle accident briefly interrupted his time with Porsche Centre Melbourne (PCM), but Adrian made a successful return a few years later to continue his training. During this period, he purchased a traded-in 944 Turbo, and driving it reaffirmed his belief in the exceptional quality of German engineering. Despite having driven various Australian and American sports cars, the 20-year-old German vehicle stood out as a remarkable experience.
The opportunity to start his own workshop arose, allowing Adrian to pursue his passion for working on Porsches independently. With his extensive knowledge and passion for the Porsche brand, combined with his wife’s business acumen, Adrian and Anuschka embarked on this journey, and they haven’t looked back since.

Customers would often request that Adrian personally work on their cars. While some Porsche specialists may shy away from these models, considering them less than the 911 or not “real” Porsches, we see them differently. At Hartech, every Porsche is special to us. Adrian still proudly owns his 944 Turbo and has since added a 928S to his collection.
