We are a niche automotive workshop, specialising solely in Porsche, in Mordialloc VIC.

At Hartech Automotive, we combine passion, expertise, and dedication to offer personal Porsche servicing, repairs and restoration. With over 25 years of hands-on experience, we’ve built a reputation as the go-to specialists for all Porsche models in Victoria, from classic front engine water cooled, rear engine vehicles, to the latest high-performance machines. 

We pride ourselves on our honesty and integrity and are committed to delivering top-tier service to ensure our customers’ Porsches performs at their peak. 

As the founder of the business, I have been a passionate Porsche person since I started working on cars and took the opportunity to start my own business 15 years ago. We have been experiencing consistent growth and now need another mechanic to join our team so we can continue to provide a high level of service to our customers. 

 

THE ROLE: 
Hartech is looking for an applicant who takes pride in their work and as such has a high level of workmanship and commitment with each and every car they work on. Porsche or European automobile service experience would be an advantage but a positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop in this specialist field will be key to success in this role. Good interpersonal skills will also be highly regarded as you help mentor and oversee future team members. 

 

To be successful in this role, you will need to: 

  • Have a recognised automotive qualification
  • Have 10+ years experience as a motor mechanic servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles
  • Be reliable with both your time and workmanship
  • Be friendly, courteous and polite with both customers and suppliers
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have some experience overseeing junior technicians
  • Have an unrestricted drivers licence
  • Have basic MS Word & Excel skills 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Carry out servicing, diagnosis and repairs 
  • Work as a team to schedule and delegate work 
  • Liase with customers 
  • Liase with suppliers 
  • Use Mechanic Desk software to track & manage workshop jobs 
  • Use PET software to identify parts 
  • Assist with inventory control 
  • Prepare basic workshop documents using MS Word & Excel 
  • Oversee and mentor junior technician(s) as our team expands
